EQUIPMENT: HAND GRIPPER VARIANT 01
A.K.A. Hand Gripper

Hold a hand gripper in your hand with your upper arms straight by your side and your elbow bent about 90 degrees so that your forearm is parallel with the floor and out in front of you. Start with the gripper fully open and squeeze it closed as explosively as possible. Try to get the bottom of the handles to touch in the closed position. Hold this closed position for 1-2 seconds and then slowly open. Once you have completed all reps with one hand repeat with the other hand.

Instructions Grab a gripper, and hold it so that it is as open as possible without slipping out of your hand. Close the gripper all the way by closing your hand. Return to the starting position and repeat. Commentary A gripper trains the muscles in your hand and forearm that close your grip. This kind of grip strength is often called a crushing grip, in contrast to static or pinching grip strength.
